Crimson Paint Pot - Spring 2026

If you live in the Region of Waterloo, Stratford, or Guelph, you can participate. Judges need to be able to visit your studios to see your models, so we are looking for local hobbyists.

If you live outside of these areas, let us know where you are and whether we can reach you to see your submissions.

Entries must be new or recently started projects. You will need to send a picture of the models you are planning to include.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Select a new model or set of models to include in the contest.
2. Pre-register for the event by 31st January 2026. You will receive detailed painting requirements and other competition details.
3. Send pictures of the models you are submitting by 15th February 2026, and pay an entry fee of $20 (plus HST) for each category you are entering.

These are the dates when things are due or happening.

• Registration cut off - 31st January 2026
• Pictures of submissions due and payment of entry fees - 15th February 2026
• Pictures of completed models by 4th of April 2026
• Selection of finalists complete - 18th April 2026
• Selection of winners complete - 9th May 2026
• Awards ceremony - TBD

You can submit up to one entry for each of these categories. You can enter as many categories as you want.

• Single small model
• Single squad up to 5 small models
• Single large model
• Diorama

Winners will receive cash prizes based on the total number of entries for each category.

• 1st prize receives 50% of total prize fund
• 2nd prize receives 30% of total prize fund
• 3rd prize receives 20% of total prize fund
