We’re bringin’ it back again!!! Back by popular demand is Bountygate once again! Players can approach any of the event staff and place a bounty on ANY player or a particular model.
Players can place a bounty of as many tickets as they want, and this bounty is then open to all opponents to try and capture this bounty for themselves.
Multiple bounties can be placed on the same model or the same player at the same time, so if you really want to see that Tyranid Norn Assimilator defeated then by all means place a bounty on it!
This location is a licensed location, so any player who is 19 years of age or older may purchase alcohol during the event.
This is a cash bar only with no ATM on site.
We ask that if you do consume alcohol that you, please do so responsibly.
Food will be available at the location, with Debit/Credit/Cash options.
Our volunteers in the kitchen will be offering all players a small selection of food during the lunch break. There are other amenities within the area that could also meet any dietary needs that you may have.
Highlander is one of the most widely adopted formats for tournament and event play.
For building your army, you are allowed to take only one of each unit, with the exception of units with the battle line key word.
For battle line, you must take one of each type before you can take a duplicate.
If your army only has one battle line option, you can take multiples but you must try to arm them, or equip them differently in some way. Our goal is to avoid carbon copies of each unit.
For other units you may take one of each type of datasheet, including dedicated transports.
Please note that the event organizer’s reserve the right to check a player’s list at any time to ensure that the integrity and spirit of the event is being upheld throughout the day. Any player found to be violating these requirements will be disqualified from winning any accolades or prizes from this event.
We ask that all lists be submitted by this date in an effort to ensure that any requested grudge matches can be properly honoured and entered in advance so that the day of the event all players are assigned to their appropriate table and begin playing their game as quickly as possible to the start time of the event.
WYSIWYG means What You See Is What You Get.
This simply means that your models are appropriately represented with all their wargear (within reason).
This is done so that players will not have to spend a lot of time asking, “what does that Space Marine captain have for a melee weapon?”, and will instead be able to enjoy a match between them and their opponent.
Painted armies are not required, but are encouraged. If they are painted, the owner of that army will receive 10 additional prize tickets!
Legends datasheets are any datasheet that is not covered in your faction's normal index or codex. These are datasheets that can be found in supplemental volumes released by Games Workshop that are not normally updated and as such need to be approved in advance.
Conversions are any models that you may have designed in an effort to add more flavour and character to your collection. If you are not sure if you can use a particular model in your collection because it is a conversion, please email the event organizers at tod.j.antoine@gmail.com with a picture of your conversion and we will let you know if the model will be an issue.
You can also email us pictures of your models if you want to brag about them too… we won’t mind those pictures either.
If we have not covered your question in this FAQ section, simply email tod.j.antoine@gmail.comwith your question and we will be happy to help you out and clarify anything for you.
